Brother's Hug

The mission of Do Care Doula Foundation, Inc. is to decrease birth
disparities with the Black and Brown birthing community by providing
free or low cost Doula support to those who are not able to otherwise
afford this necessity which has been shown to reduce the occurrence of
unnecessary interventions or complications during pregnancy and
childbirth which have increased the birth disparities.

Central Delaware Community Doula Program was established in 2021 as an outlet to fulfill Do Care Doula Foundation’s mission(see below) and  intentionally train Doulas, offer subsidized Doula support, and provide a connection to community resources.

So I will like to take the time out to give Morgan a HUGE shout out for her care as my Doula. From start to finish she was so caring, understanding, and supportive my entire pregnancy. Not only was she helpful to me and my needs she was also helpful to my husband as well. With my last two deliveries me and Nas chose to be the only two in the room besides the hospital staff. However, this time we knew this was our last time and we wanted to experience a doula. I am so glad I made that decision! Throughout this experience our children have even became friends and constantly ask when is the next time they will meet (and you know kids know energies!! I am a firm believer of that!) Morgan thank you for this experience… I did not expect this experience to go so well and I am so glad I worked with you. This has definitely formed a friendship. Here’s to one chapter closing, and another one opening…

Shoutout To My Doula!!! There Were Many Times That I Was Ready To Give Up And Take The Easy Route Out But She Gave Me The Reassurance I Needed To Have The Natural Birth That I Wanted. I Could Never Repay You For All That You’ve Done . I Love You Ari. #getadoula #mydoulaisbetterthanyours — with Ariandra Clark.

If I Didn’t Have Her During My Labor And Delivery Chileeee. I Might Not Of Made It. I Really Appreciate Her. I Love You Ari

My birth experience with Brynn-Leigh was definitely interesting. From not thinking I was having real contractions, to throwing up with every contraction to getting to the hospital and finding out I’m 4 cm dilated, then becoming 8 cm dilated about an hour and a half later (still no epidural, because they were busy on labor and delivery floor), to yelling that I needed the nurse because it felt like it was time to push, THEN to getting rushed up to the delivery room. Where my sweet baby girl was born shortly after. Having Ariandra Clark as my doula truly changed my labor experience. While in the ER waiting for my delivery room she managed to talk me through breathing and reminded me to stay calm. I wouldn’t have changed my experience for anything. We had a beautiful delivery and I couldn’t have done it without her. I even gained a best friend/sister.
